Found at a local estate, this vintage breweriana plastic sign measures approximately 16 1/2" x 15", and believe the sign was designed and produced by "Embossograph Display Mfg. Co.". This all-plastic sign features a cardboard back, which has a small factory cut-out for hanging on a nail in a wall for display purposes. Colorful red highlights adorn this classic beer advertising! <>
History
: the
Schlitz Brewing Company
(Milwaukee, Wisconsin) was at one time the largest beer producer in the U.S. They utilized some now-famous advertising slogans, such as
"When You're Out Of Schlitz, You're Out Of Beer"
, as well as
"The Beer That Made Milwaukee Famous"
. They were eventually acquired by the Pabst Brewing Company.
