Ah, Schlitz; one of America's favorite beers for the first half of the twentieth century! This lamp celebrates that rich heritage and gives you a chance to have a small golden lady perched on a globe on your wall at the very same time!
Back when I was young, it was very common to see this sort of thing in a den or living room. That was back when men were men, and were so insecure about it that they had to decorate their homes with only the manliest of decorations. Today, it makes for an interesting throwback piece. Or, if you happen to buck the trends and are trying to decorate your house with sort of a "Smokey and the Bandit" vibe, this could be just the piece you need to really tie the room together.
Extra bonus: this lamp works. But please note: this item is u
sed and repaired. Someone has re-glued the front portion of the shade to the back of the shade. Some irregularity along top of back edge of shade; please see photos. Other similar listings have a little piece hanging below the globe that reads "On Draught" but this seems to be missing from this item. Also please note that someone has shortened the power cord and just wrapped it in non-electrical tape, as well as painted the bottom portion of the cord white. I would at the very least remove this tape and apply electrical tape, if not just replace the cord altogether.
