    Description

    Vintage 1930's handmade doll in Norway. Box tag says, Made in Norway, Vare Merke. Norske dukker box by Ronnaug Petterssen. In lovely condition,
    never displayed. I am told made in region Valdres.
    Her
    clothes are hand-woven wool in historic
    Norwegian fashion. Several tags. Two on box, one under dress flap. Plus in her original
    cardboard box. The side is stamped Gudbrandsdal which describes her National costume.

    Hand painted delicate facial features and brunette mohair wig. Side glancing eyes.
    Round blue & silver foil tag connected to the wool dress on the doll and on the front of the box.  The box is intact but has some rips and age discoloration. She was well protected inside. Lovely, not played with, a collectible owned by my mother when she was a young girl, she had a vast collection. Est 1940's.
