    Here is a very nice medieval France Silver immobilized denier of Metalo! This one is has the spelling as "ME ALO", transitioning from the usual spelling of METALO, which lead to the present-day Melle! Images are scanned; it's glossy and has a lot more "meat" to it... great coin: no clipping or repairs! Legend: + CAR(O)LVS REX R.
